Arrived at work 15 mins early this morning so I could whip up a quick email to PD/CSC with all the construction drawing queries & notes I had after perusing them over the weekend. Emailed her on PD 24/7 with the below five items that are showing incorrectly on the drawings:
1. External Fresh Water Tap. Fault on Sheet 3 – Size Analysis. The external tap was still in it’s original position along the master bedroom side wall, at the front of the house. Requested this to be moved to rear of house, along the family side wall, as per contract the signing meeting.
2. Overhead Kitchen Cupboards. Fault on Sheet 3 – Size Analysis; Sheet 6 – Lighting, Power & Heating Legend; Sheet 8 – Kitchen & Laundry Elevations; & Sheet 10 – Tile Layout. All have the birds eye view of the kitchen with the over head cupboards shown as the old configuration. Need to be updated to reflect the PCV extending them all the way across.
3. Fans. Fault on Sheet – 6 – Lighting, Power & Heating Legend. Shows the ceiling light & fan upgraded in master bedroom, but not shown in the family room. Shows the self sealing exhaust fan in main bathroom, but not shown in the ensuite.
4. Trough. Fault on Sheet 8 – Kitchen & Laundry Elevations. Laundry trough is shown as “s/s” – this should be the classic delux acrylic trough & cabinet in white.
5. Tiling. Fault on Sheet 9 – Bath, Ensuite & Linen Elevations. Ensuite elevation C has the additional tiles shaded in, but it does not leave a space for my own cabinet (approx 1m x 1m), as per NT’s document.
I queried if the updated Colour Selection document PD/CSC sent is my new copy, or if I need to sign & send that back with the construction drawings.
Finally, I confirmed the PCV for the new siting & sink is all ok, & thanked her for picking it up. I’d hate to have the wrong sink that doesn’t fit rock up & cause delays. I need somewhere to wash all my new pots in! (And no, I’m not leaving them all dirty until I move in. ;P)
