“Warp speed. In the springtime of his voodoo, every road leads back to my door.”

Hot hot hot! And the weather was hot too. *grinz* Isn’t this supposed to be spring? After a short walk in the heat, the pug went through the usual routine of an inspection. What a lovely shady portico I will have. :) It conjures up images of Tori Amos’s Boys For Pele album cover where she’s sitting in a rocking chair with a shotgun, good old fashion USA country folk style. *giggles* I might have to dye my hair red again…

20091108+Construction015 Construction D028 Pug Upper InspectionHurry up, slow coach! Can’t you see the fabulous gutters are waiting?
20091108+Construction002 Construction D028 Pug Upper InspectionLet’s take a wander along your footpath.
20091108+Construction003 Construction D028 Pug Upper InspectionOops! Swallowed by the temp fence. Who bent it all backwards?
20091108+Construction006 Construction D028 Pug Upper InspectionI might check out this side of the house today. Love the windows. *woof*
20091108+Construction007 Construction D028 Pug Upper InspectionWah! Too much crap up the side. Back around this way, near the recycled water connection beside the portico.
20091108+Construction008 Construction D028 Pug Upper InspectionPortico’s too high for my puggy legs. Love the gutters up there.
20091108+Construction009 Construction D028 Pug Upper InspectionWhat’s this silver metal strip doing here? Shouldn’t it be bracing a wall?
20091108+Construction024 Construction D028 Pug Upper InspectionThese 2 portico beams look very inviting.
20091108+Construction025 Construction D028 Pug Upper InspectionCan I chew on the portico beams? No?
20091108+Construction026 Construction D028 Pug Upper InspectionYour hot water gas boosted connection is poking out behind me RHS.
20091108+Construction027 Construction D028 Pug Upper InspectionI’m wag happy about that extra 1/2m – just look at the advantage over next door.
20091108+Construction030 Construction D028 Pug Upper InspectionHere we have the entry to the laundry, with the bathroom toilet LHS. Yes, that laundry sliding door IS the wrong colour. It slides open right where the trough will be. Even I won’t fit through there!
20091108+Construction034 Construction D028 Pug Upper InspectionBut I will fit here, in the family room. Still no taps on these water pipes. Gosh I’m thirsty in this heat.
20091108+Construction035 Construction D028 Pug Upper InspectionHere I am showing off on the other side of the family room, with the pipes running overhead & along the walls.
20091108+Construction037 Construction D028 Pug Upper InspectionHere is an example of the metal strip installed as a brace for the bedroom 2 & family room wall. You can see bedroom 2’s window all installed, above BG.
20091108+Construction039 Construction D028 Pug Upper InspectionUnder the roof trusses for the kitchen, into the study & garage. The last of the day fades into the BG.
20091108+Construction041 Construction D028 Pug Upper InspectionHere we can see the roof trusses along the hallway, through to the front entrance. Hrm, my fur matches the dining room sliding door!
20091108+Construction043 Construction D028 Pug Upper InspectionThe back fence is still to be capped. Slack!
20091108+Construction044 Construction D028 Pug Upper InspectionThis is roughly where your fence will run through.
20091108+Construction045 Construction D028 Pug Upper InspectionI can’t believe they put in black! This doesn’t match my fur. Unless they were co-ordinating with my ears?
20091108+Construction046 Construction D028 Pug Upper InspectionThis freshwater pipe runs all the way along the southern side of your house, below the wall frames.
20091108+Construction047 Construction D028 Pug Upper InspectionJump! This sliding door gives me plenty of room to run through into the kitchen.
20091108+Construction048 Construction D028 Pug Upper InspectionRubbish! This needs a clean up. All the loose bits have blown into your water connection hole.
20091108+Construction049 Construction D028 Pug Upper InspectionThe source of all your fresh water. I’m still thirsty!
20091108+Construction050 Construction D028 Pug Upper InspectionThe source of the future recycled water. I think the master bedroom windows are a little high off the ground?
20091108+Construction053 Construction D028 Pug Upper InspectionEw! The birds have been roosting on your roof trusses & leaving presents.
20091108+Construction055 Construction D028 Pug Upper InspectionAhh. Some great work. Time to knock off & head home for a schmacko. *wags*
